William Galvin is a CEO of Anixter International, Inc.(AXE)
Bill has worked in the industry since 1999. Prior to joining Capital Management Group, he was an Internal Wholesaler for American Skandia’s Mutual Fund and Annuity Sales Desk.
Bill is a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He has achieved a Certificate in Financial Planning from Quinnipiac University and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional – (CFP®) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements. He holds a FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 65 and 24 securities registration and a Life, Health and Disability Income insurance license. He is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).
Bill has been involved with a number of local community groups including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Boston College Alumni Association Fairfield County Chapter as well as volunteer coaching and managing for Stamford Youth Girls Softball, Stamford Youth Basketball and the Stamford National Little League.
William lives in Shippan Point, CT with his wife Catherine and their three children– Kiley, William and Quentin. In his free time he enjoys coaching, flag football, softball and basketball.
